Description
Application
For bonding thermoplastic edgebands (e.g. ABS, PP, PVC), edgebands made of resinated décor paper, veneer (with or without fleece backing), or solid wood edges.
Directions for Use
The adhesive granulate can be processed using automatic feed systems. The ambient temperature should not exceed 30 °C.
Different types of hot melt adhesives may be incompatible with each other depending on the formulation. It is recommended to carefully clean the application equipment when changing the product.
The processing characteristics may vary depending on the application technology used as well as at the differing feed speeds, which can affect the bonding process. Customer trials are required.

General Bonding Requirements
The properties and conditioning of the substrates, as well as the processing conditions, will influence the bonding process. Customer tests under everyday production conditions are necessary to define stable process parameters and ensure suitability.
The materials to be bonded should be free of dust, oil and grease, and be dry. The minimum temperature should be 18 °C. Avoid draught.
Cleaning
Mechanical preliminary cleaning while hot (e.g. by scraping). Remove residues when cold using Jowat® Cleaner 402.40.
Storage
Store in properly closed original containers in a cool and dry place. Check suitability after the best-before date.
